What experience do I need to become a Stefano Versace Gelato franchise owner?

No need to know how to make our authentic, handcrafted gelato because it is done for you and delivered to your door. This is an ideal concept for those with restaurant experience, however that is not a requirement. Come to us with business experience, financial qualifications and enthusiasm for our brand and we will talk with you.

What is provided as part of the Stefano Versace Gelato franchise program?

The Stefano Versace Gelato franchise team will provide training for franchise owners and their managers at company headquarters in Florida, consisting of 30 hours both in the classroom and in a restaurant setting. There is no on-site training at your location unless needed. You will have access to the Stefano Versace Gelato proprietary Confidential Operations Manual for guidance on daily operations, accounting, marketing, and more.

How much will the Stefano Versace Gelato franchise program cost me?

The total investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $250,500 to $688,000 for a single location, including an initial franchise territory fee of $25,000. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

Is financing available?

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case by case basis.

Are there ongoing fees to pay?

We charge a royalty fee equal to 6% of monthly gross revenues. Collected fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of product and supply channels, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. Are there any advertising fees?

Stefano Versace Gelato franchise owners are required to spend up to 3% of gross revenues toward the system marketing fund and 2% on local marketing. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Stefano Versace Gelato brand and cover the costs to develop local marketing materials and campaigns.

What is the term of the agreement?

The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years.
